International Police Dogs operates in the world community as a preventative measure of Law Enforcement, we are always on the lookout for potential candidates to join our K9 teams working in the areas like: Bomb Detection, Narcotic Detection, Man Trailing, Tracking, Arson Dogs, Termite Dogs, Border line Protection and general Policing roles. International Police Dogs K9 members generally live with their operational handler/s and when not on the job enjoy the comfort as a normal family member.

If you think you might have a possible K9 candidate we would be keen to hear from you so we can arrange for an on-site assessment of your dog. It is important to note that any failing candidate is offered back to their donor home, if the donor doesn't want their dog returned, then we re-home the dog to a suitable family.

Some members of the community prefer to financially sponsor a working service dog from puppyhood through to operations and beyond. We invite financial sponsors to the passing out parade of their sponsored K9 and give regular up-dates as to the performance role of their team. It should be noted that financial sponsorship is fully deductible.

Sponsorship is accepted from the individual/private sector as well as the corporate measure of industry.
